Vogue was another gorgeous puppy bitch from the Ozzie x Shannon litter. She was just the color I have always wanted…fawn and white. I had co-bred the litter with Sandi and had agreed to take half the litter when they were old enough. Vogue was one of the ones I chose. She was so beautiful with her porcelain like qualities. If she would just stand there posing, she would have gone far in the dog show world. The reality was that her movement was not up to show standards and I realized early on that she was not going to be a show dog. When I spoke to Sandi of my intentions of starting to look for a proper pet home, she said she wanted her back. So Vogue went back to live with Sandi, her mother Shannon and sister Teala, and there she remained to live out her life. Everytime I would go to visit Sandi, Vogue would be elated, vocalizing in the familiar Whippet “woo woo” greeting and bounding around the furniture. She would frenzy all the dogs into a raucous greeting, really making you feel truly welcome.
