Praline was the first born of the litter and was fairly large, almost too large for her mom to get out. I had to go to the Vet clinic. She was coming breach and all they could get ahold of were her two toes. They finally got her out but the toes were also damaged permanently. She never was shown much because she couldn't drive properly off her rear because of it. I did show her at two specialties just so people could see how beautiful she was. I named her Praline as she is a cream. Pralines and Cream is a decadent taste treat of southern USA origins. Hence her registered name….Kaliphna Dixieland Delight.
She is the one who is always there, no matter where I am. If I am in the kitchen, I turn around and there she is. She is one of those extra special ones that come along rarely, the ones that bond so closely and tug at your heart strings. I am excited to think that she may be a part of my next generation, God willing.
