Bugs was a most beautiful Afghan and I was excited to begin her show career. She had it all. At 14 months, I did a preliminary hip x ray as she was limping, it showed hip dysplasia. I had done OFA certifications on both parents but as we all know that isn’t a guarantee that they don’t carry the genes. Bugs went to a home in the mid west and I lost touch with the people.  I try to stay in contact with everyone that has one of my dogs but you can’t make people notify you if they move and change phone number.
